Jupiter Ionics’ CEO, Dr Charlie Day, joined a panel of speakers as part of the Startup Showcase at the Annual Conference of the Ammonia Energy Association, held in the US city of New Orleans. Charlie highlighted some of the key insights obtained by Jupiter’s team of scientists and engineers as they scale up their Lithium-mediated electrochemical process for the synthesis of carbon-neutral Green Ammonia. He also discussed the technical and commercial milestones required to bring next-generation ammonia production technologies to market at industrial scale.
The Startup Showcase is a core component of the annual conference, designed to bridge the gap between early-stage innovation and commercial deployment and enabling emerging technologies to be presented to industry leaders and investors.
The event was attended by a broad cross-section of participants in the fast-evolving Green Ammonia industry, with representation from several continents and both established and new sectors. The conference is an important forum for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and discussion of pathways to accelerate the global transition to green ammonia production.
